Setting Up Reorder Alerts
Get notified automatically when stock runs low.
Overview
Reorder alerts notify your team when a product's stock falls below its defined threshold, so you can place purchase orders before running out.
Step 1 — Set a Reorder Threshold
On any product page, go to Settings and set a Reorder At value. For example, setting 20 means an alert fires when stock drops to 20 or below.
Step 2 — Configure Notification Channels
Go to Settings → Notifications and enable one or more channels:
- Email — sends to all Admin and Manager users
- Slack — posts to a channel of your choice
- Webhook — fires a
stock.lowevent to your endpoint
Step 3 — Test It
You can simulate a low stock alert from the product page:
Product → ··· menu → Simulate Low Stock Alert
Snoozing Alerts
If you've already placed a PO and don't want repeated alerts, you can snooze the alert for a product for 24h, 48h, or 7 days.
