Creating Shipping Labels
Compare carrier rates, apply package presets, print labels in bulk or individually, and manage shipment creation workflows.
Creating Shipping Labels
Analision includes built-in shipping rate comparison and label generation tools. You can print labels individually or in bulk, compare carrier rates, apply saved package presets, and let the system automatically scale dimensions and weight based on order quantity.
Getting to the Label Screen
From the Orders / Shipments screen:
- To print labels in bulk, select multiple orders and click Create Label
- To print a label for a single order, open the order and click Create Label from the detail view

How Rates Are Fetched
When the label screen opens, Analision automatically fetches available shipping rates using:
- The order destination address
- Package dimensions and weight from presets or manual input
- Your connected carrier accounts (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Amazon-negotiated rates, and others)
By default, the system selects the lowest-cost option that still meets the required delivery timeline.

Sorting and Comparing Rates
You can change the default suggestion by sorting rates based on your shipping priorities.
| Sort Option | Best For |
|---|---|
| Lowest Price | Cost-sensitive shipments |
| Fastest Delivery | Urgent or late orders |
Click any available rate to select it before printing.
Each option displays an estimated delivery date so you can balance speed and cost.
Package Dimension Presets
To avoid manually entering package dimensions and weight for every shipment, save presets for commonly used box sizes.
Creating a Preset
- On the label screen, enter package dimensions and weight
- Enable Use for Similar Shipments
- Click Save Preset
- Name the preset (for example, Small Glasses Box – 8oz)
For future shipments, simply select the preset from the Presets dropdown to populate rates instantly.

Automatic Dimension Scaling
When an order contains multiple units of the same product, Analision automatically scales package dimensions and weight based on the saved preset.
Examples:
- 2 units → dimensions and weight × 2
- 3 units → dimensions and weight × 3
This removes the need for manual recalculation on multi-unit shipments.
If the automatically scaled values do not match your real packaging setup, you can override them before printing.
Splitting Orders into Multiple Shipments
If a single order must ship in multiple packages:
- The bulk label workflow creates only one shipment per order
- Splitting is supported only from the single-order label view
To split an order:
- Open the single-order label screen
- Create the first partial shipment
- Return to the order
- Create the remaining shipment(s)
This is useful for partial fulfillment or mixed packaging requirements.
Supported Carriers and Integrations
Analision can pull rates from:
- FedEx
- UPS
- USPS
- Amazon Buy Shipping (when the Amazon seller account is connected)
- ShipStation (when integrated)
Note: ShipStation rates may not always appear in the comparison list depending on your integration configuration. If expected rates are missing, contact your account manager.
After the Label Is Printed
Once a label is created:
- The order moves to Shipped status
- If Auto Pick is enabled, inventory is deducted automatically
- The tracking number is saved and visible in Shipment History
This keeps fulfillment status, inventory movement, and shipment traceability fully aligned.
