Warehouse Operations
Location-based picking, batch workflows, cart/bin assignment, and inventory traceability for real warehouse execution.
Warehouse Operations
Effective warehouse management requires workflows, not just numbers. Analision provides location-based picking, batch workflows, cart/bin assignment, and full inventory traceability to optimize real warehouse operations.
The Challenge
Most ecommerce tools are designed for the office, not the warehouse floor. Knowing you have 47 units of a product isn’t enough — your team needs to know where to find them, which ones to pick first, and how to confirm correct items were pulled.
How Analision Solves It
Location-Based Inventory
Assign every product to one or more warehouse locations. Pick lists display:
- Product name
- Quantity to pick
- Location(s) for retrieval
If multiple locations exist, all quantities are visible. Pickers can follow the suggested default or choose the most convenient.

Pick Lists and Batch Picking
Warehouse managers can create batches to group multiple orders for efficient picking. Each pick list shows:
- Orders in the batch
- Products per order
- Exact locations
- Quantities required
Out-of-stock or missing items are flagged immediately.

Cart / Bin System
For simultaneous order picking:
- Assign a batch and cart with numbered bins
- Map each order to a specific bin
- Picker collects items into bins
- Packer confirms order at packing station, prints label, and ships
This reduces walking time and is ideal for mid-to-high volume operations.

Stock Deduction and Traceability
All stock movements are tracked through transactions, whether from:
- Batch pick
- Auto pick via label creation
- FBA send
- Manual adjustment
Each transaction records:
- Date and time
- User performing the action
- Location
- Quantity and resulting balance

Cycle Counts and Adjustments
Adjust stock from the product detail screen; every change logs a Stock Update transaction.
Reserve-Based Availability
Prevent over-picking by reserving stock as soon as an order is created:
| Stock Status | Visible to Warehouse Team |
|---|---|
| Available | Yes |
| Order Reserved | No |
| Batch Reserved | No |
Built for Real Warehouse Workflows
Analision was developed to match actual warehouse operations. The cart/bin system, for example, was built at a customer’s request. Custom workflows can be added as needed.
