Replenishment and Forecasting
Velocity-based stock forecasting, reorder alerts, and purchase order management for smarter inventory planning.
Replenishment and Forecasting
Stockouts or overstock situations cost time and money. Replenishment is often reactive — only triggered once stock is already low. Analision provides velocity-based forecasting and integrated purchase order management to prevent this.
The Challenge
Most sellers don’t know a product is running low until it’s nearly gone. Alerts often come too late, resulting in missed sales. Buying too much ties up cash in slow-moving inventory. Effective replenishment requires:
- How fast each product is selling
- How much stock remains
Analision calculates both automatically.
How Analision Solves It
Sales Velocity Report
The Sales Velocity Report (Financial → Sales Velocity) shows:
- Units sold over 7, 30, 60, 90, 360 days
- Current on-hand and FBA available stock
- Estimated days until out of stock calculated from recent sales

Reading the Forecast
| Days Remaining | Meaning | Suggested Action |
|---|---|---|
| 90+ | Well stocked | Monitor only |
| 30–90 | Getting low | Plan next order |
| 30 | Urgent | Reorder immediately |
| 7 | Critical | Expedite or activate backup supplier |
Sorting ascending by this column surfaces the most at-risk products first.
Spotting Trends
Multi-window velocity shows trends, not just snapshots. Example: 143 units sold in last 360 days, but only 3 in last 30 days indicates declining demand. Ordering based solely on annual numbers would be misleading.

Purchase Order Management
Create Purchase Orders directly from the product detail screen:
- Open the product
- Click Create Purchase Order
- Enter supplier, quantity, expected cost
- Submit the PO
When stock arrives, Purchase Receiving updates on-hand quantity and recalculates weighted average unit cost automatically.

Calculating How Much to Order
Example:
- Target stock: 60 days
- Daily velocity: 1 unit/day
- Current available: 8 units
- Order quantity: 60 − 8 = 52 units
